Poker wisdom says you have to know when to hold them and know when to fold them. Basically, this means choosing your battles wisely based on your cards, your opponents and the betting. What are some the battles you’ll commonly face at Everest Poker and which should you pursue?

Here are some typical poker online game scenarios and why it is best to hold or fold ‘em:

  * A large bet comes out ahead of you while you are holding speculative cards, such as high suited connectors. The pot only has the blinds and that one big bet and you’re holding a speculative hand. Even though your K-Q suited looks great, fold it and wait for a better opportunity. The pot does not justify risking your chips.

  * When a big multi-way pot has developed and you are holding what is at best a medium hand. In this situation, you almost always have to be holding at least two pair or higher to win. If not, get out.

  * You are holding two pair or higher and the flush or straight draw that the board texture held before the river did not materialize. Understand that some of your opponents missed their draws and so you can hold your made hand for showdown.

  * You have reached the bubble in a poker online tournament and two players ahead of you enter the pot. Unless you are holding a monster hand, like A-A or K-K, fold and let another player bubble out first.

  * There is a big bluffer at the table who is pushing people around. When you get any medium made hand or better, fight back and call the bluffer’s bet.

Turning 30 is the first of many birthdays where you’ll probably ask, “I cannot believe I’m (insert age).” And, it’s a great reason to have a big party to celebrate. Whether you opt to have a huge bash or a small get-together, you will need some fun festivities to make the party memorable. Let these 30th birthday ideas
take you back to many beloved childhood activities and make conventional party games unique.

Whether you choose a ready-made invitation, create one yourself or send one via email, make sure to make it clear the event is a surprise and that the guest of honor should be kept in the dark! A quick way to ask a lots of people, especially old friends of the guest of honor, is with an online invitation. If you would rather, send an invite via standard mail, and be certain to give guests essential details such as their arrival time, and the arrival time of the guest of honor.

Turning 30 is often a time to call up accomplishments and events. Integrate this stroll down memory lane into a 30th birthday party with a photograph matching game. Keep the center on the guest of honor or include all guests for a look back through the years. Gather pictures of the 30-year-old at several ages. Have party guests to match up details on each photograph like age, location or what is going on in the photo. Ask each guest to add a baby photograph and have everyone take a turn guessing who is who.

It has commenced and it’s not possible not to get caught up in the excitement. Televisions and big screens are set and crates of beer are arranged, and also the match schedule is pasted on walls or put in the diary, to avert conflict with anything else. Game enthusiasts sporting different jerseys are equipped for the game. That’s right people, the football world cup 2010 has begun with a bang and all over the world countries are attaining fever pitch.

There is no route of evading this year’s largest sporting event, and we tend to love a good bit of harmless loyalty coupled with solidarity; getting excited for your homeland is somewhat superb, especially if they’re winning. Show your encouragement for your country’s team with coloured sky lanterns, available in every shade fitting to your team’s playing strip, no matter wherever you are in the world. Our packs of coloured sky lanterns are available in a number of shades, if you’re uncertain about whom you’re supporting, no problem there is always something to match you or whichever team you’re rooting for.

So get out the lanterns and release them for your players, and who knows, you might even help them carry home the big reward! Discharge them and gaze at the beautiful exhibition that adorns the sky.

What are the best indicators to use to make a decision about continuing with your hand? To figure out the strength of your hand, keep these tips in mind: * If seven poker players remain to see the flop, then most likely the best hand will be at least two pairs or better. If you are not holding the high pair after the flop, then fold. * The only justification to continue post-flop without high pair is if you have lots of outs to complete your hand – either you have a flush or open-ended straight draw, and there has been no significant raise in front of you. If you can draw cheaply, then do so. * The fewer players in the pot, then the stronger a made hand, like high pair, becomes. When there are only one or two players post-flop, and you’ve got a made hand, like high pair, then bet it aggressively. * If you are in early position post-flop, checking is a useful option when you are unsure of the strength of your hand. You might get to see the turn for free or just one small bet. * When faced with a post-flop raise, only call if you are reasonably sure your hand is best, i.e. top pair, two pairs or a set – but be mindful of the board and how it could complete another hand to beat yours.

If you don’t win a big pot at the poker table, the natural instinct is to think that you did something wrong. The idea is that if you didn’t win, you must have made an error along the way that skewed the game in favor of your poker opponent. This is innately sound logic. However, your losses can often be chalked up to more than you realize. In many cases, your unlucky experiences at the poker table can actually be credited to penalties that you incur from the casino. One of the most common poker online casino penalties is issued to players when they accidentally reveal their hand to the other players at the table. Casinos need to crack down on this particular move in order to avoid any appearance of collusion at the tables. They maintain the prerogative to penalize you in any way that they see fit. The most common path is to take your ante and kick you out of the game. In this case, poor table etiquette can have a real life financial consequence. If you get penalized enough, the punishments can start to dip into your bankroll. If you find yourself being penalized, stop immediately and reevaluate your playing style.

Playing poker online is supposed to be fun. This seems like rather a rudimentary concept to have to announce to the world, but my recent time at the poker online table has shown me that far too many people have forgotten that the game is supposed to be enjoyable. I think that really the key concept here is the fact that poker is a game. It is not a dead serious endeavor. And for most of us, playing poker represents a fun way to spend some spare cash. As such, the attitude at the table should be kept light. I am sick and tired of people playing poker with only them in mind. The point is to have fun. The point is to play nice.

To keep the game enjoyable for everyone, follow a few basic playground tenets. Play nice with the other people; after all, they want to have fun too. Share the spotlight, and don’t hog the table. Last but not least, don’t be a sore loser. Learning how to play nicely with the other people at the poker table will make this classic game more enjoyable for everyone. If you ever get stuck, just think of the advice your kindergarten teacher told you.

When you play poker, one of the worst things that you can do is let your ego get the better of you. While there are moments when you play that you can feasibly allow a little bit of bravado, there is one moment when you should never, ever have an ego trip. The absolute worst time to have an ego trip is when you are first sitting down at the table. If you appear overconfident in this moment, you can pretty much kiss your dreams of poker glory goodbye.

The big reason that you should not have an ego trip when you sit down at the table is that players use these moments to size you up as an online poker opponent. If you appear too big for your britches at this point, they will take advantage of your overconfidence later on in the game. You also want to develop a relationship with the other players. This will not happen if you sit down at the table thinking that you know more than the other players. They will simply grow to resent you and wipe the smirk right off your face. These reasons, and many others, are why you should avoid an ego trip when you sit down. Save the bravado for after you win the big pot.

Since the online poker hand is essentially worthless without a helpful flop, many players will see a 5-6 of Hearts in their pocket cards and just toss them into the pile. On the other hand, many other players will get overexcited when they see suited connectors. They see a straight draw and a flush draw before the flop even comes out. These players end up tossing in a bunch of chips, only to be disappointed and broke when the flop misses them. Suited connectors can definitely be risky, but the flop can turn them from prospective hands to monster hands pretty quickly. The key to knowing whether or not your hand is playable is to know how aggressive your table is. Don’t throw away a hand with so much potential unless you know that you’re at an aggressive poker table. If your opponents have been passive for the majority of the game, it’s worth a look at the flop. If you’ve got suited connectors and you know that your opponents won’t reraise you, then bet into the hand and see if the flop will make you richer.

The mark of a great poker onlinepoker player is one who can shrug off the bad beats and big losses without changing their method of play. This does not come naturally to me, as I am a very emotional person. Not good. When you’re on a losing streak, people who get emotionally reactive have a tendency to want to change their game. The problem with that is that with most losing streaks, people change their games for the worse.

Bad luck is going to happen. There’s nothing you can do about it, it’s just a fact. It’s also a fact that your luck will turn around eventually and your luck will improve. The problem that many poker online players face is that they will try to change their luck by changing their game, and most do change their luck-they make it much worse. Some players who are on a bad run will start playing hands that they would usually fold in a heartbeat, they start playing aggressively out of anger, and their judgment generally goes out the window. Others will get nervous and tighten down, playing timid poker. They’ll fold playable hands, limp in when they should raise, and fold hands that they should hang on to.

Don’t make these mistakes when you find yourself on a bad run of cards. Play your game and ride out your bad streak instead of giving more chips away because your emotions have run amok. Remember this when you’re at the casino online.

The El Gordo Loteria is part of the Euromillions Euro lotto, but if you don't know anymore than that you should really get to learn more. This lottery is rightly famous for jackpots that can match the world's biggest - payouts as high as more than two and a half billion Euros. Nor is this the lottery's only claim to fame. The El Gordo Lottery offers up more than 13,000 prizes, which makes for a one in six chance to win a prize. That's very good by the standards of the prizes offered by competing lotteries ...

When you first come across the El Gordo Lottery, part of the Euromillions Euro lotto, you absolutely need to find out more. With payouts up to two point six billion Euros, the Elgordo Lottery offers one of the world’s richest jackpots. Even that isn’t all that is special here. With over thirteen thousand prizes being offered, your odds of winning something mean that there will be one winning ticket in every six. When you consider prizes given by competing lotteries, that’s nothing to be scorned.

To enter the draw, your first option is a full ticket, called a “serie”. Also available is a “d©cimo”, worth one tenth of a full ticket. This is the cheaper option. Sadly, both these choices are pricey ways to play nor will either of them increase your odds of a payout anyway. Because of this the Euromillions Euro Lotto also offers an e-lottery system.

With the Euromillions Euro lottery there is one monthly draw. But three months each year have special draws for larger prizes. To be perfectly precise: January’s “El Nio”, the summer “San Ildefonso”, and the Christmas “El Gordo” with the Xmas drawing being the richest of the 12.

Unlike typical lottery systems, the El Gordo Lottery utilizes balls with five digits printed on each in a range from 00,000 to 84,999. Two bowls are required, with one used to determine the winning number, the second the prize value.

This system guarantees a prize to everyone who takes part. You will automatically be assigned a team when you buy in to the El Gordo Lottery syndicate. With each team numbered between zero and nine, the final digit on the winning number signifies the winners and they go on to take the money. All members receive their share of the money. In preparation for the next draw, the syndicate offers subscriptions once again and the e-lottery continues.
